Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company HOBBY Division will release the latest product from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", the "HG 1/144 GQuuuuuuX (Endymion Unit Awakening)", on January 10, 2026. The official site also released new information such as product box art design and actual sample images on the eve of its release.
In a world where the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War, the "gMS-Ω Gundam QuuuuuuX" is the first Gundam manufactured by the Principality of Zeon military in Universal Century 0085. This unit possesses extremely superior mobility, capable of agile movements in space. Its greatest feature is the new "Omega Psycommu System" it is equipped with, which, once activated, allows switching from analog control to brainwave control, enabling the unit to instantly adopt offensive and defensive postures through the pilot's direct thoughts and reactions. Under specific circumstances, a special function called the "Endymion Unit" can be activated, completely lifting the restrictions of the Omega Psycommu System.
The "HG 1/144 GQuuuuuuX (Endymion Unit Awakening)" is a modified version based on the previously released regular edition. The main body utilizes Bandai's latest part separation, movable mechanism technology, and multiple molded color parts to reproduce unique structures such as the single-axis joints at the elbows and knees designed by Ikuto Yamashita, and the feet equipped with large thrusters, greatly restoring the movable mechanisms from the show. Paired with weapons such as the Tomahawk Heat Axe, Beam Rifle, Shield, and Beam Saber, it can be posed in dynamic battle stances.
This version newly adds a new head part with an articulated jaw that can open and close, new clear parts for the disc-shaped areas on the limbs when expanded, and PET sheet effects, to reproduce the awakened form after the "Endymion Unit" is activated.
